Sigep Christmas 2011

Thanksgiving / SAFE Event

- Description: The brothers celebrated with a Thanksgiving feast with our special guest, Paula Dranger (Coordinator of VU's Sexual Assault Awareness and Facilitative Education office). "In creating the program, Dranger said SigEp fraternity members established the criteria for being a "SAAFE House" in 2002. The men of Sigma Phi Epsilon then pledged to exhibit the desired qualities of respect, care and concern for the rights of all people and to promote physical, mental, emotional and sexual safety and security among its members and the University community."

House Renovation 4/2/11

Carlson Leadership Academy 2011

- Description: The Carlson Leadership Academy is an award-winning program that the chapter leadership attends each year. Goals include providing executive officer training and sharing best practices, implementing chapter goal setting and strategic planning, conveying the importance of recruitment and retention through curriculum, as well as recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of chapters, volunteers, and brothers!

- Description: The banquet for the scholarship honoring four outstanding freshmen who embody Scholar, Leader, Athlete, and Gentleman. The winner was Zach Schlect and the runners up were Derek Wessels, Evan Byers, and Matt West.

Sig Eps in Kenya

- Description: This summer three Sig Eps, Eddy Brouch, Jeff Macke, and James Nagel, visited the small village of Nakor in Kenya. There they installed solar panels and a merry go round that pumps water. These pictures help to tell their story.
